Sidebrow Books and fabric8 Galleries invite you to finish off this year’s Lit Crawl with readings from Sidebrow authors and contributors Miranda Mellis, Joshua Marie Wilkinson, Sandy Florian, and Vincent Standley. (Regrettably Shane Michalik has informed us that she will be unable to attend.)
And be sure to check out Miranda’s Encyclopedia Project reading during Lit Crawl’s first phase at Adobe Books at 6 p.m., featuring Mary Burger, Jaime Cortez, Robert Glück, Alena Hairston, Jocelyn Saidenberg, Kate Shatz, and Sarah Fran Wisby.
Sandy Florian’s latest book is Sidebrow's On Wonderland & Waste with art by SF artist Alexis Anne Mackenzie. She lives in Morgantown, West Virginia, where she teaches Nonwestern Literature and Creative Writing at West Virginia University.
Miranda Mellis is the author of The Revisionist, Materialisms, and None of This Is Real, forthcoming in 2012 from Sidebrow. She is an editor at The Encyclopedia Project and teaches at CCA and Mills College.
Vincent Standley’s fiction has appeared in Denver Quarterly, Post Road, Esquire, Parakeet, Colorado Review, Quarterly West, and Encyclopedia. He is the former editor of 3rd bed. A Mortal Affect (Calamari) is his first novel.
Joshua Marie Wilkinson’s works include Selenography with Polaroids by Tim Rutili and Made a Machine by Describing the Landscape, a film about the band Califone co-directed by Solan Jensen. He lives in Tucson.
